MJ Support can provide support with activities of daily living, general and specialist support, household tasks and budgeting.

We are experienced in providing support to young adults with traumatic brain injuries, along with behavioural and emotional challenges

Family Support

MJ Support can provide support with We work with families dealing with mental health problems, difficulties with parenting, domestic abuse, behavioural difficulties, problems engaging in education, emotional or physical welfare issues, supporting the family as a unit.

Our work is based on the principle of empowerment, working with families, supporting them along with other services until they are able to manage without support.

Looking for Placement Support?

We offer placement support in collaboration with social workers in order to prevent the breakdown of placement for a variety of reasons.

We aim to support the placement of looked-after children and provide support to the networks of carers and professionals working with them through a person centred approach to care.

AIM AND OBJECTIVES

Our aim is to provide a warm, safe and caring environment for young people who are leaving residential or foster care for semi-independence, as well as unaccompanied minors, where they can be supported and encouraged to develop their skills towards independence and to grow and develop into young adults

OUR SERVICES

All of our service are staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and focus primarily on preparing young people and families to progress towards independence whilst accessing advice and support from qualified and experienced staff.

Michaela has been working in the health industry for 11 years. Michaela has managed services ranging from domiciliary, residential, supported living, sheltered accommodation and many more. MichaelaStarted in the industry as a community carer and has worked her way to manage many services. Michaelaholds a level 3 & 5 Diploma in health and social care and is now working towards a level 7 in leadership and management. Michaela is part of the dementia friends, is a mental health & wellbeing champion and now working towards becoming a mental health champion. Michaela holds over 30 training certificates in many areas of health & social care and has worked very hard to be where she is now.

Sara has also worked in and within the care sector over the last 25 years as a senior healthcare assistant running and managing shifts and also as a Manager. Sara is waiting to have her NVQ 5 signed off once completed. Sara also is qualified as a Manual Handling and First Aid Trainer and currently is training all Indiana staff to make sure they are up to date and compliant to work safely and correctly.
